12 Muslims in Church Give Evidence In IRAD





A total of 12 Muslims, who are in a church in Damansara Utama when the examination of the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) recently, come forward to give evidence and to receive counseling at the department's office building at the Sultan Idris Shah, on August 15, 2011.



A total of three men and nine women aged between 20's and 40's is seen arriving in stages from 9:15 am to 1 pm.



Also seen in the Meeting Room, where the evidence is taken, is the Director and Deputy Jais Marzuki Hussin Selangor Mufti Datuk Abdul Majid Omar.



According to sources, they are given counseling in small groups between two and three by several officers Jais and Selangor Mufti Department.



It is understood that the process of taking evidence and be counseled to be over until late afternoon.



Jais addressed all 12 individuals to testify today after they failed to do so on 9 August.



"Some of them appear in the company of their lawyer," the source said.



More information about the process to provide information and counseling fail from Marzuki, who declined to meet the media and would not issue any statement to that effect.



In fact, a worker Jais asked the media waiting at the 6th Floor of the building to leave.
