Five masseuses detained for offering sexual services

JOHOR BARU, Malaysia - Five masseuses, including two locals, were detained at a reflexology centre in Taman Pelangi for offering sexual services to customers.
Police discovered that the centre had used the reflexology business as a front for its vice activities during a surveillance for a week.
State vice, gambling and secret societies division officer Deputy Supt Mohammad Abdul Hamid said the five women, aged between 30 and 40, were detained at around 4pm on Friday.
"The masseuses were attending to their customers when we raided the place. We also detained five male customers aged between 20 and 30 during the operation," he said here yesterday.
DSP Mohammad said apart from the two local women detained, officials also nabbed two women from China and one from Indonesia.
One of the local masseuses also worked as the centre's cashier.
He said initial investigations showed that the foreigners came to Malaysia on a social visit pass but had worked illegally at the centre.
"Apart from massages, they also offered sexual services with charges ranging from RM150 to RM200 (S$61 to $82)per session," he added
